Harahan means Elmwood for us. Our delivery boom is slow in the morning and fine by lunch. What is that?
Cold, moisture heavy fluid and a tired pump. South Louisiana humidity loads hydraulic oil with water, and a worn pump cannot build pressure until the fluid thins. A fluid change plus a pump inspection usually answers it, and it is far cheaper before the pump fails outright.
Can you service our trucks at our Elmwood warehouse?
Yes. Most Harahan work happens in customer yards off Citrus and Mounes. Hose failures, cylinder swaps, and PM service all run mobile. Full pump or valve rebuilds come back to the bench.
Do you handle roll-off and refuse truck hydraulics too?
Yes. Hoist cylinders, tailgate cylinders, and packer systems fail the same way boom systems do. If it moves oil under pressure we rebuild it.
What does a fleet PM program cost?

How do we stop killing seals so often?
Nine times out of ten it is contamination or a scored rod. Keep the fluid clean, keep rods stowed when parked, and fix small weeps before they wash the packing out. We put this in writing after every Harahan inspection.
